Uptime is important, but data protection is critical. Every FileMaker database we host gets automated daily backups stored in geographically separate locations. We also take snapshot backups before any major changes or updates. We preserve daily backups for 30 days and can restore them upon request.
Our backup strategy uses multiple layers of protection: FileMaker Server's built-in backup schedules and Google Cloud's persistent disk snapshots. Your data is protected even in the unlikely event of a complete data center failure. Note: backup schedules are configured at the server level—if you share server credentials with others, ensure they don't modify backup settings.
